I love this pen. My before and after pics may not be in order but it is easy to see which is which. If it weren’t the pen would be worthless :)) I have some gray eyebrows, and a couple of “thin spots”. Normally I will color my eyebrows and use this pen to fill in the thin spots. Now, my after pic, my brows need coloring and using the pen was only just a rush job which took a few seconds because I was in a hurry, yet the result is still a pretty decent one. This is dark gray. I had initially bought chestnut because my hair is dark chestnut, but that color looked awful on me. I had no problem sending it back and getting the dark gray pen which, surprisingly, is a much better color for me. I have been using the pen a couple of times a week if/when I leave the house and have experienced no problem like a chemical burn. I do apply it rather lightly, more like brushing my brows rather than pressing the pen down onto my skin. I wore it to the gym a couple of times, in the pool, no smudges. And one time I forgot to take it off before I went to bed, no stains on the pillow.
